ITALIAN GOLDSMITHING ON THE RISE

From a recent analysis carried out by the Confindustria Moda study centre on Istat data. The Italian jewellery sector has been growing strongly for several years and has seen a sharp increase in exports and imports, as well as recruitment by large and small jewellery companies.
The perfect fusion of tradition and innovation has always given Italy world leadership in jewellery production. Among the brands that represent Made in Italy, Bulgari and Damiani are certainly to be considered among the greats of world jewellery. Their jewellery is the result of creative excellence, exclusive attention to design and shape, the quality of precious stones and the precision of finish.
Every year when these two great brands open selections for staff, at the top of their choices and rankings we find artists/students from our goldsmithing school. All people who, thanks to their dedication and good work during their academic period, succeed in realising their future and their dreams.

BECOME YOUR OWN ENTREPRENEUR
The future belongs to young artisans. The time has come again to produce, to make, to create with one’s hands and to become artists who are able to realise themselves and sell all over the world. This is also thanks to effective communication and the use of the web, which offers new forms of advertising, enabling artists to display their work and make themselves known everywhere with ease.

“Work is created.”

Salvatore Gerardi. Director and creator of the Accademia Delle Arti Orafe, Italy’s first jewellery school, artist painter sculptor, thanks to which hundreds of students over almost 40 years have realised their futures, said :
” forget the fixed job, forget daddy state and come out of anonymity, become artists in demand and appreciated in all parts of the world, become entrepreneurs of your own, work is created! “
