The
ACADEMY OF JEWELRY ART is located in the center of ancient Rome, a few steps
from Via Veneto ( Veneto street ) and also from Piazza Barberini ( Barberini
square ).
The founder-director of the Academy is an artist who has dedicated his life of
the preparation and the perfection of instruction in new goldsmith work :
Salvatore Gerardi .
 The objective of the academy is the prevalence of goldsmith
and jewelry art. It provides an optimal preparation for those who wish to become
a professional in goldsmith work and jewelry art. This will be done
through highly qualified
Professional
Courses with
instruction techniques
which have proved effective, while being continually updated, since 1983 .

only ( as one can imagine ) the goldsmith's children whose parents have no
time or patience, but, mainly students ( of both genders )of all categories
and ages: stewards, employees, architects, professionals, artists and

knowledge of the art are the winning cards of the new goldsmiths and are also
the principles that inspired the oldest italian Goldsmith's Studio

The school has succesfully experimented innovative
teaching methods.
Years of rank-and-file
studio work have been replaced by a complete training . At the end of the
program, students can design and create any type of piece; and what is more
important they can implement on their own all the techniques that
usually require the presence of several specialists.

us, Students of every age and every extraction arrive, form all the parts of
Italy and of the World : in little years our SCHOOL has become international .
In 22 years, and this is 23° years of activity, has had the possiblity to state
that our student is most satisfied of the time that he has passed with us, above
all because, exited from our "Bottega", introduces itself easy in the world of
the job and, carrying out the handicraft activity in just, like SMALL BUSINESS,does
not have more problems for the future . 
The young students try a road
alternative to the traditional studies, that he allows to find a creative job in
short times . But behind the banquet they seat also adult, tires of a job miser
of satisfactions: He employs to you of bank, university, university professors,
stewart and pilots of airplane, insurers and housewives with large sons by now

in all these years ?

supplies ) in an Artisan world where the apprenticeship does not exist more

WHEN
TO REGISTER :

 Registrations
are open year - round !

Our programs are based on continuous cycles ) .Registrations
are on availability basis .

The
number of posts are limitated so we advise to apply well in advance .
TYPE
OF CLASSES :
We
provide individual classes for all programs .
DURATION :
The duration of
programs, for those who live in Rome, is approximately eight to ten months (
based on individual learning capability ) . The schedule includes weekly lessons
of two hours each on every other day as follows :
10-12.. 12-14.. 15-17.. 17-19..
In ten months are about
250 hours ( Soft Course ).
For those who live
outside of Rome, we provide special schedule of 2/3 months of total immersion :
six hours a day everyday ..
WHAT
DO YOU PAY FOR
:
Our " approximately " means that, if a complete program is scheduled
for 200 or 300 hours, the " Academy of Jewelry Art ", by tradition,
and in any case, grants a student who falls behins ( for personal reasons ) an
extra 50 hours ( one or two months ) in order to complete the program, at no
additional cost .
In other words you pay
for the program not by the hours !!

The
cost of each program and the payment are specified in this
DOCUMENT .
EQUIPMENT
AND
TOOLS
:
All necessary equipment
is available at the " Bottega dell'Artista " . Small tools and metals
( silver and gold must be provided by the student ) .
WHAT
DO YOU GET
:
At
the end of all programs the school awards an "ATTENDANCE CERTIFICATE" valid for registration as a local professional .
LODGING
: We can find single or double rooms, with
kitchen use, to rent to a figure variable salary from the 300,00 € to people (
double room ) to the 450,00 ( single room ), in quarters of Rome close to our
School . |
